Sometimes everything needs to turn upside down, get heaped in a pile over here, so you can freshen things up over there. Sometimes this happens in late afternoon on Sunday and there's really nothing you can do about that. Except pop the earbuds in, turn on the audiobook, open the new can of paint, dip the brush, and go to town. A fresh coat of creamy white (Sherwin Williams Pure White) just may cover the kitchen wall by nightfall.
This fresh white on the entire interior first floor of the little house has been on the list to complete in March. I'm not sure when March became just one week long, but a quick look at my planner the other day, and there it was, March: one week, then on to April. No time to dawdle.
But when it seemed that March's remaining week was already full, with no wide open days for endless painting, I had to look a little closer before I could see the open bits. Sure enough, they were there. In the bookends of the day, in this slice of time here, and that one there; open spaces, slim though some were, to get this fresh coat on the walls - before March's end, and maybe even before Easter.
Do what you can with what (time) you have.
Have a lovely holiday weekend, friends! Don't forget to check out the spring sale on the Shelter Collection house plans, right this way.
