I'd just finished up the dishes for the night, it was dark save for the light pooled below the sconces flanking the sofa. I walked through the great room, down the hall, and into our bedroom where my small studio sits between two wardrobes. The light was on there, too, illuminating what I'd been working on all day - the sketches sitting askew on the desk, drafting tools lying about, house plans taped to the walls, and books stacked on the floor (far messier than this photo here!).
And it hit me again (it often does), just how much I love this little house. It's such an easy house. Comfortable. Though it's not Eden, there is a peace here.
Friends, I want you to be able to have a house like this, too.
I can't believe that I can finally say, be looking for the launch of the Shelter Collection next week as Shelter No. 1 rolls off the presses!!*
Have the loveliest of weekends, friends!
*Actually, a PDF download is more accurate, but that doesn't sound as pretty. Wink
