There's a winter storm blowing outside. Snowflakes are tossing about every-which-way, crazy-dancing past the porch light's beam before disappearing into the dark. With temperature highs going from the sixties on Saturday, to the single digits by tomorrow, I think it's safe to say that winter has arrived and is most likely to stay.
We are warm here in the little house, and with the freezers and pantry shelves (quite literally) full, and the last of the yard & garden clean-up finished just yesterday, I can say we're ready. Ready to settle into the next season. Ready for more tea, hot chocolate, good books, and inside projects (I can't get spoon carving out of my head!).
But. What's straddling everything right now, is the wrap-up of the cabin plans you have all been waiting for! Gah! I cannot wait to show you! The first one in the collection of four will be coming soon, with the next three following closely on its heels (I'm hoping to release one every couple weeks). Because this beautiful, wonderful, delightfully creative, amazingly challenging project is straddling (quite heavily, I might add) everything right now, I've decided that there couldn't be a better time to bring an early winter Today, I Love series to the blog.
