Oy. Am I ever thankful to be on this side of that. Yes. Thankful, straight up. Whew. With a card like this, though, delivered to my bedside (my favorite part is the thermometer), how could I not get well?
I was able, early on in those sick days, to finish the third knitted hat that was in the works, right in time for the (so, so disappointing) Big Game. Now, I’m itchy for the next project. A trip to the yarn shop does sound lovely, I have to say. And, I have a bit of sewing to get to at any open minute, too. Never a lack of things to stay occupied with. Perfect.
Thank you for all the laundry love the other day. There was such great conversation in the comments that lasted over a couple days. I have to admit, after that I did spend some of those long under-the-weather-hours trolling Ebay for antique silver napkin rings. Sigh. So much lovely there.
Now, then, how are you? Are you keeping warm in this very cold (it’s -15°F here right now) weather that seems to keep coming, no matter where you might live in this country of ours? Lots of tea and wool, flannel and down is where it’s at, I’m convinced.
Wishing you a wonderful, warm mid-week day, my friends.
P.S. The boy loft landed on Apartment Therapy yesterday! Check it out.
And? My friend Tsh Oxenreider’s new book, Notes From a Blue Bike, officially launched yesterday! I’m part way through and have to say, it’s a good one (more to come soon on that)!
