All that busy that I’ve been talking about lately, and that finishing and painting and sewing and boxes arriving and late nights and audio books and take-out pizza for dinner (and breakfast, and then lunch, in that order). All that chaos that was pulled into order this morning at precisely 8:55?
It was in preparation for . . .
A magazine photo shoot!
WHAT?
Oh, my!
I don’t even have words.
Other than maybe: Is this really happening?!! Did an editor, a stylist, a photographer, and three assistants fly from the corners of the country just for us and our story and our little house? And are they here, right now, working their magic and then capturing it all? And am I standing here watching all this unfold?
Yes.
Yes, to all of it!
Do you realize what this means, lovelies? This means that sometime along after the turn of the year, you may find yourself standing in an aisle in a grocery store (or maybe you’re getting your mail out of your box), and there you’ll see a popular shelter magazine, and you’ll pick it up and open it, and there we’ll be – our little house, and us, and oh my – see what I mean? It’s hard to believe! But, this is what happens when a magazine calls!
I know you must be dying to know which magazine and when and all sorts of things, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy on those accounts for the time being, but will I ever tell all the very moment that I can!
Woot!
*The elusive vintage porch light was found! Just in time.
