Make something, I remind myself. Even in thinnest pockets of time, a stitch can be made, a row knitted, or just one or two sheets of cookies baked (and the rest of the dough chilled in the fridge until the next day). The time you have is good enough. The skills you have are, too. The space you have is just right. The supplies you have will work just fine. Make. Just make, and it will become something.
Like pennies adding up to dollars.
And raindrops adding up to rivers.
It’s so easy to forget how easy it really is.

This rose was crocheted a while back from jute twine – I was trying something new. It and other crocheted flowers became a corsage that I wore for Easter that year.
