These. I’ve got them. Finally, finally. Fabrics that are all boy – in a cool, masculine sort of way. A little bit rugged, a little bit refined; a little bit edgy, a little bit artsy, in shades of gray, moss green, navy blue, and orange. Quite the tall order for three boys and their loft.
It was a trick, this fabric hunt. When I ruled out girly, and then babyish, cartoonish, theme-y, kitschy, and plaid, there wasn’t a whole lot left to choose from out there, I must say. Oh, but Parson Gray has delivered (aka David Butler, or Mr. Amy Butler, if you will – should have known this kind of goodness would come out of their studio!) and delivered well with this Seven Wonders collection for Free Spirit (which is now already getting hard to find, but they’ve also released Curious Nature and World Tour, two more good ones).
I’ve got plans for these prints. These prints together with these fabrics. For those built-in bunks in the loft. For this final phase of finishing that’s happening inside this little house.
