There’s a good scattering of eraser crumbs across the screen this morning. A good thirty minutes worth of writing and erasing, trying to catch those words that sound worth saying. I lay them out there, black against the white, left to right. I pause, re-read. The finger hovering over delete quickly falls, and I watch black become white again, right to left as the thread of words is gobbled right back up. Eraser crumbs!
Ahem. So sorry for the mess.
I’ve a good notion about what’s causing this writer’s block fuss. Yes, I do. It’s about what’s coming around my corner in just a couple weeks. People? Exciting things are coming! Exciting things that have my head jammed with lists and my hands filled with tasks. Exciting things, indeed!
I’ll tell you more as the time gets closer, but for now, I’ll be taking a little step-away from the blog for a bit while I focus my energy on the tasks at hand. I’ll continue over on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter though, just so you won’t feel left behind.
