A beveled mirror and the painted plank walls of the old lake cabin? I couldn't resist!
We're a little bit tired, a little bit sunburned, a little bit dirty, and oh-so-glad to have another pocketful of summer lake & family memories for keeping close. I know this is Wednesday, two days past the Monday on which I intended to be back here in this space, but when you're under vacation's spell, it's so easy to extend for a couple more days, isn't it?

In the past ten days there were sunrises, chipmunks, kayaking, knitting, loons, skiing, conversations, thrifting, wake boarding, horseshoes, naps, food, card games, photos, coffee, garage sales, mud, chess, laughter, tears, reading, tea, sunsets, and a little rain. We packed it all in, packed it all up, and brought it all those miles home with us.
Still grinning.
