Three weddings coming. And a dress to wear, for me! A whisper of ivory chiffon and cloud-soft voile in shades of plummy gray. A score in the ‘big city’ yesterday.
A boutique dress. For…can you guess? Eight dollars cash! Oh that I would be so fortunate when it comes to the shoes!

I've had my eye open for one for, oh, ever, it seems. A vintage quilt. In every thrift store and antique shop, I look. But, my goodness, I'd never realized before just how many quilts out there have a good lot of pink in them! Gracious! As you know, we're heavy on the boy side here, and these guys have never been much fond of that color. (I don't know. They just came that way.)
So, you can bet that this one caught my eye and wouldn't let go when I saw it. A crazy quilt made with an amazing assortment of vintage fabrics in deep, vivid colors!
This little bit of crazy came right home with me!

You wouldn't believe the load that we're carrying home. Yes, the load of memories - so many of those, all new and shiny still. The load of pictures, too, for sure - I'll share more of those soon. But, my, the load of things that we snatched up between there and here and how to fit them all in, is what's got me wondering.
Light fixtures?

For the house you don't even have?

And an enameled basin that would make an amazing bathroom sink?
Yes. It really would, wouldn't it?
And that pair of vintage wooden water skiis - can you imagine them hanging on a boys' bedroom wall?!
Oh, I can!
And what about those vintage linens...

Because I'm looking at all this, then at the car, and I'm not sure where I'll fit the boys!
