No, I didn't knit this. But, I think I want to.
I think I want to knit a poncho, but I had to know for sure if I even liked them before I wove up a bunch of time and yarn into one. Enter: My $4 thrifted try-out. I figured a poncho try-out was a good idea since I was about four years old the last time I wore one, and four years old was a long time ago.
Avocado green and harvest gold were still all the rage when I was four.
So were polyester pants.
So was Wonder Woman.
Actually, you know, it's weird, but I felt a little like Wonder Woman herself when I wore it! Just think about it - wearing a poncho is sort of like wearing a cape! (Isn't it?) Do you see the connection here? (Is there a connection, here?) I mean, just look at me make that bed! (Oh, please!)
But, no matter what kind of a wonder you are at poncho-clad bed making, just don't try to knead bread or clean the bathroom while wearing one.
I know these things.
They were part of the try-out.
Poncho Try-out Final Conclusion:
Where are my knitting needles?
I think it's very cute. And looks warm too.

So cute! I can definitely see the drawback to wearing it while bread-making though.
